About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready to bring a brand-new planet to life! In Planet, you take on the role of a cosmic creator, shaping a world from scratch. Each player starts with a three-dimensional planet core, ready to be adorned with mountains, deserts, oceans, and glaciers. Each round, you choose a terrain tile and magnetically attach it to your planet, expanding continents and creating diverse biomes. The goal is to form environments that attract animal life. Whoever manages to meet the conditions for certain species to appear earns their cards, accumulating points. The gameplay is a mix of strategic tile placement and open drafting of terrains, where turn order can shift. It's a visually stunning game, with a planet that grows in the player's hand, making for a unique and tactile experience. Perfect for those who enjoy a good puzzle with a sci-fi twist and an engaging ecological theme. It's quick, easy to learn, and makes for great games with family or friends who appreciate lighter games with interesting decisions. A gem for anyone who likes to see something beautiful form on the table (or in their hand!) while playing.
