Ponzi Scheme puts everyone in the shoes of high‑stakes swindlers trying to fool investors with promises of outrageous returns. Each round starts with drawing a Fund card, which comes with a matching Industry tile and the cash amount shown on the card. That card carries a "promised reward" you must pay the bank in future turns, and the amount climbs as the game progresses. After everyone has taken their Fund, the closed‑trade phase kicks in: you may propose a direct deal with another player, buying the Industry you want at an irresistible price or selling yours for a good sum. At round end you rotate the Time Wheel 1 or 2 spaces and, if any promised rewards are due, you pay them to the bank. The first player who can’t meet a payment goes bankrupt and is eliminated. Among the remaining fraudsters, the one with the most victory points on their Industries wins. The game blends loans, set collection and heavy negotiation, with a pace that quickens as debts balloon. Easy to learn but demanding on cash‑flow management and bargaining skills, it’s perfect for fans of economic themes who love a good persuasive duel.
