About the game

What you do in a play session

Get ready to roll the dice and mark numbers in Qwixx, a super-fast dice game where everyone plays all the time! The idea is simple: each player has a sheet with numbers from 2 to 12 in colored rows. The goal is to mark as many numbers as possible, but with one rule: you can only mark a number if it's to the right of all others already marked in the same row. On your turn, the active player rolls six dice – two white and one of each color (red, yellow, green, blue). Everyone uses the sum of the white dice to mark a number in any of the four rows. Then, the active player can choose to use the sum of a white die and a colored die to mark in the row of the corresponding color. The more numbers you cross off in a row, the more points it's worth! But beware: if you can't mark any number when it's your turn, you get a penalty. And there's more: if you mark the 2 or 12 in a row and have already crossed off at least five numbers in it, you can lock that color with a padlock, preventing others from marking it. The game ends when someone accumulates four penalties or two colors are locked. In the end, just sum the points from the rows and subtract the penalties. Whoever has the most points wins! It's guaranteed fun for those who enjoy dice games with a touch of strategy and a frenetic pace.
