About the game
What you do in a play session
Rogue Angels: Legacy of the Burning Suns is a sci‑fi adventure playable solo or cooperatively by up to four players. Each session puts you in the boots of a member of an interstellar mercenary crew, tackling missions that range from stealth infiltrations to dramatic rescues, sabotage, and evacuations. The core of the game is its branching narrative: choices you make – both in and out of combat – permanently shape your character’s personality and relationships, opening or closing future paths.
Combat blends card‑driven actions and asymmetric abilities with dice‑based risk. You allocate action and movement points during smooth turns, while an action queue lets the team plan coordinated strategies. Every mission offers multiple approaches, thanks to hand‑management that lets you tailor your deck to your preferred playstyle.
The game uses a book‑as‑board that doubles as campaign guide and map, spreading across several scenarios and maps. Throughout the campaign, event cards drive the story, and each character’s unique powers give every player a distinct role with asymmetric information. Individual difficulty settings let both newcomers and veterans find a suitable challenge.
Legacy mechanics mean permanent decisions alter components and unlock new options for future sessions, creating an evolving experience. If you love epic storytelling, tough choices, and a dash of tactical RPG, Rogue Angels delivers all that in a box that also ships with digital versions for TableTop Simulator and Tabletopia.
