Hey board game enthusiasts! Ready to dive into the vibrant world of 16th-century London theater? In Shakespeare, you step into the shoes of a theater manager tasked with putting on the perfect play to impress the Queen. Time is tight, only six days, and the pressure is on! Each day is a race against the clock to recruit the best actors, craftsmen, jewelers, and other talents. You start with a few helpers and add a new troupe member each day, using your action points to rehearse acts, craft stunning costumes, build symmetrical sets, and even dazzle royalty with jewels. But beware! Each character has their quirks: actors need rehearsal and rest, craftsmen can be inefficient, and the jeweler only deals with gold. Your theater's ambiance also scores points, and the dress rehearsals on days 4 and 6 are crucial for those aiming to shine. In the end, the bill comes due: unpaid actors can tarnish your reputation and cost precious prestige points. Whoever best manages their resources and talents to create the most acclaimed production will achieve eternal glory (and victory points!). It's a game that demands strategic planning, personnel management, and a dash of luck to win the favor of the court and the audience.
