About the game
What you do in a play session
Prepare for an epic siege in Stronghold! In this tense and strategic game, one player takes on the role of the relentless invader, determined to break down the castle walls, while the other commands the defenders, fighting bravely to hold the fortress for as long as possible. The board is a detailed map of the stronghold and its surroundings, where every move counts. The invader commands a legion of creatures, utilizing war machines, training, and even black magic to breach the defenses. Meanwhile, the defender, with a limited number of soldiers, must be a master of tactics: repairing walls, positioning cannons, and training their troops are essential to resist. Each turn is a desperate battle, with defenders gaining victory points as time passes and they manage to hold off the enemy. The diversity of powers among players and the need to manage action points make each game unique. It's a game for those who enjoy direct conflict and castle defense scenarios, with a good dose of strategy and a well-executed fantasy medieval theme. Communication is key for the defending team, while the invader needs a well-crafted attack plan. Can you withstand the assault or invade the castle before it's too late?
