About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready for a dose of medieval intrigue with Templar Intrigue! If you dig the vibe of games like Werewolf or Mafia but want something faster-paced and without that annoying moderator, this one's for you. Here, things get serious: are you loyal to King Philip's France or the Knights Templar? The catch is, you won't always know who's on your side! The game revolves around hidden information, deduction, and, of course, a lot of smooth-talking to convince the king. As soon as the cards are dealt, a dance of reveals and espionage begins. Each monk gets a chance to peek at another player's card and report back what they saw (or didn't see!). After much discussion and with King Philip IV's final say, two players are pointed out. If the king correctly identifies the Grand Master Templar and the Archivist, France wins the round. Otherwise, the Templars come out on top. The first team to score three victories wins the game! It's pure tension and bluffing in just a few minutes, perfect for livening up any gathering of friends who enjoy a good team-based deduction game.
