About the game

What you do in a play session

In *The Stars Are Right*, you play as a cultist trying to bring creatures from the Cthulhu Mythos into reality. Start by summoning ghouls and minor entities, which help manipulate the night sky represented by a 5x5 grid. Each creature card allows actions like flipping tiles, pushing rows, or swapping neighboring objects to create the right patterns for more powerful invocations. As you progress, you unlock Servitors capable of chaining actions together, rearranging the entire grid to your whims. The goal? Align the stars to summon a Great Old One and win! Points are earned by summoning creatures, with stronger ones requiring more complex patterns. The game blends strategy, pattern recognition, and an immersive Lovecraftian theme, all featuring artwork by the renowned François 'Goomi' Launet. Get ready to bend reality to your will — just don’t lose your sanity in the process.
