Hey folks! Ready for a desert adventure? In Timbuktu, each of you steps into the role of a caravan leader tasked with transporting a load of goods from your starting point to the legendary oasis of Timbuktu. The number of camels in your caravan depends on how many players are at the table, and each camel is packed with precious merchandise.
The journey isn't easy! Along the way, you'll stop at various oases, and when night falls, thieves attack! With each stop, new clues about the thefts emerge, and guess what? Each player receives a different clue. The trick is that, over time, these clues are passed around, and only one lucky (or unlucky!) player will collect three out of the five total clues. The game's core challenge is to observe the moves of other caravan leaders and use the clues you have (and the ones you suspect others have) to figure out who's stealing what and reposition your camels to try and save the cargo. The next morning, the journey continues, and new clues appear to challenge you again. Ultimately, the player who arrives in Timbuktu with the highest value of goods wins! It's a game that blends bluffing, memory, and a bit of hand management to see who fares best on this perilous trade route.
