About the game
What you do in a play session
Time's Up! Blue turns the classic charades party game into a memory‑driven, fast‑paced showdown for large groups. Each player secretly selects a handful of cards featuring famous historical or fictional figures; all selections are then shuffled into a single deck used for the three rounds. In the first round, virtually any clue is allowed – sounds, gestures, and even brief words – but the clue‑giver cannot skip a card. Teams race against a 30‑second sand timer to guess as many names as possible, generating a chaotic, laugh‑filled atmosphere. The second round tightens the rules: only one word may be spoken, while unlimited noises and gestures remain permitted. The clue‑giver can now pass cards they find difficult, and teammates are limited to a single guess per name. The final round bans spoken words entirely; only gestures and sounds may be used, and the clue‑giver may pass freely. Players must recall what they learned in the earlier phases, turning “oh, I remember!” into valuable points. The game shines when the group shares good chemistry and a solid pool of recognizable names; otherwise, memory lapses can slow the fun. The 30‑second sand timer keeps pressure constant, and the team‑based structure ensures everyone participates, even the quieter members. Perfect for parties, friend gatherings, or game nights, Time's Up! blends humor, pop‑culture trivia, and light competition, delivering guaranteed laughs each round.
