How to read the roll
Every Zombicide weapon defines two things: how many dice you roll and the minimum value needed to hit. A 3-dice weapon with accuracy 4+ means three D6, counting as a hit each result of 4 or higher.
The per-die probability is straightforward, but intuition misleads once there are several dice. With three dice at 5+, the chance of at least one hit is about 70%, well above the 33% of a single die — and that is what justifies many-dice weapons with poor accuracy.
Each hit applies the damage printed on the weapon card, and damage must meet or exceed the target zombie's armour. Rolling many hits at damage 1 does not resolve a target with higher armour.
