About the game
What you do in a play session
In *Tyrannos*, you take on the role of the Tyrant of Syracuse in the 5th century BC, fighting for control of Sicily. Through diplomacy, military strategy, and resource management, your goal is to expand your power before Carthage, Athens, or local rivals overthrow your rule. The game blends a detailed tactical system (with battles on a two-line tactical board) and a dynamic state management system, where every decision affects your economy, population, and prestige. It can be played solo against a challenging automated system or competitively for two players. The aesthetics are immersive, inspired by ancient pottery and coins, making the experience even more authentic.
