About the game
What you do in a play session
Hey board game enthusiasts! Get ready for a clash of legends where equality is just a myth. Unmatched is a highly asymmetrical miniature fighting game, perfect for 2 or 4 players who enjoy a good strategic brawl. Each hero comes with a unique deck, designed to capture the essence of their legend and fighting style. Forget luck in combat; here, tactical movement and card-based conflict resolution are key, ensuring a gameplay experience that rewards expertise, but also challenges you with every new hero combination.
In this first volume, we have four big names ready for a fight. King Arthur, who sacrifices cards to power up his attacks and gets timely magical assistance from Merlin. Alice, straight from Wonderland, with her giant vorpal blade and the Jabberwock by her side, growing and shrinking to gain advantages in offense and defense. Medusa, who loves to attack from range with her harpies, but can end the battle in the blink of an eye with her devastating gaze. And Sinbad, who grows stronger with each of his voyages, gaining experience and power. Combat is resolved quickly by comparing attack and defense cards. But don't be fooled, the unique effects of each card and a simple yet deep timing system ensure super interesting decisions every round. The game also features an updated version of the line-of-sight system, ideal for ranged attacks and area effects. To top it off, a double-sided board with two different battlefields, pre-washed miniatures for each hero, and custom life trackers, all brought to life with the stunning artwork of Oliver Barrett and the combined talent of the Restoration Games and Mondo Games teams. It's time to see who the true champion is!
