Get ready for a brutal clash where monster brute force meets knightly discipline! In Drako: Knights & Trolls, you dive into a classic fantasy setting: on one side, furious Trolls terrorizing the mountain trails; on the other, a group of knights determined to claim the bounty on their heads. What starts as a planned ambush turns into total chaos when the wind shifts, the Trolls sniff out the intruders, and a desperate fight to the death erupts in a forest clearing.
The heart of the game lies in the management of unique decks. Each player controls their side using cards that dictate possible actions via symbols. If you're leading the Trolls, your strategy revolves around smashing everything with rocks, launching brutal charges, and using raw strength to annihilate the knights. The knights, however, rely on coordination: they can strike with swords, fire bows from a distance, move in groups for protection, or call for reinforcements to turn the tide.
Tactics are everything. With a hand limit of six cards, you must carefully decide when to strike and when to defend. Can the knights neutralize the Trolls' vital areas to stop their charges? Or can a Troll isolate the strongest knight and take him out before the group can react? The hexagonal board demands precise positioning, making every move a critical decision. Victory is simple but bloody: the Trolls win if they kill all the knights; the knights win if they survive or defeat the monsters. It's a game of cat and mouse where hand management and tactical movement determine who leaves the mountain alive.
