About the game
What you do in a play session
UNO Tiki Twist takes the classic UNO formula and sprinkles it with a fun tropical twist. Instead of just following the usual rules, a plastic Tiki idol spins each round and points at a player, who must then obey its command. The Tiki can be generous, letting you discard extra cards, or merciless, forcing you to draw even more from the deck. This mechanic creates a suspenseful atmosphere: you never know if the next spin will bring relief or trouble. Besides the regular colored and numbered cards, the game adds 16 exclusive Tiki action cards, each marked with an icon that signals the idol to spin. These cards increase the chaos by changing turn order, swapping hands, or making everyone draw cards. The goal stays the same – be the first to empty your hand and shout “UNO!” when you have one card left. Each round awards points, and the first player to reach 500 points wins the overall game. With a playtime of about 30 minutes and support for 2 to 10 players, it’s perfect for family gatherings or parties. Hand Management is key; knowing when to hold a strategic number or color can save you from a Tiki attack. At the same time, the Take That mechanic ensures nobody walks away unscathed, as the idol can flip the game at any moment. With a weight of 1/5, the game is ultra‑accessible, ideal for beginners, kids, and UNO fans looking for a livelier variant. In short, UNO Tiki Twist delivers the familiar family fun of UNO with a dash of tropical chaos that will please everyone.
