Hey board game enthusiasts! Ready to put on your mayor's hat and build the city of your dreams? In Városépítők, we come together to erect a vibrant metropolis, but make no mistake: the competition to be the best urban planner is fierce! This is a tile-laying game that blends the fun of building with the tension of auctions, perfect for gathering family and friends around the table.
Each round is a challenge in itself. First, a super strategic auction takes place to see who gets the coveted district tiles. The choice of tile is important, of course, but the value of your bid can be a game-changer, directly influencing your chances of scoring later. After winning your tile, it's time to fit it into the city that everyone is building. And here comes the most enjoyable part of the game: each type of building rewards you differently, encouraging you to try various tactics.
You'll need a keen eye for adjacencies, icon diversity, row and column formations, and even isolated placements. The city changes with each tile placed, so the ability to adapt to the constantly evolving landscape is key to success. Although we build everything together, in the end, only one of you will be crowned the master of urban architecture. Who will be the genius behind the most prosperous and victory-point-rich city? Come find out!
