About the game
What you do in a play session
Ever thought about assembling your own team of scientists and leaping through eras to collect historical evidence? In Time Travel, that's exactly the plan! You take command of brave researchers navigating from the Age of Dinosaurs to the distant future. The goal is simple, but the execution is tactical: you must visit different periods of human history and be the last one to leave the era to secure the 'scientific evidence,' which is what actually puts points on your scoreboard.
To get around, you don't just move randomly. You must choose which travel tool to use: the Ship, the Clock, or the Time Machine. Each of these options offers a different type of movement, requiring you to carefully plan where you want to go and when. And you won't be traveling alone! During your journeys, you might bump into 25 iconic historical figures, such as Cleopatra or Albert Einstein. These encounters can be your salvation with incredible advantages or a huge problem, depending on luck and strategy.
But don't think it's a peaceful stroll. The interaction here is intense. Using special action cards, you can sabotage your opponents and send their scientists straight into the Time Tunnel. The catch is that this tunnel has a timer. There is a countdown mechanism that signals when the tunnel is closing. If you don't rescue your colleagues in time, they'll be sucked into the Galaxy's Black Hole and lost for eternity. Created by Brazilian designer Marcos Macri, the game blends the tension of a survival game with area control and set collection strategies. It's a race against time (literally!) where cunning and planning are essential to avoid floating in the spatial void.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers before you buy
Is the game too complex?
It has a medium weight (around 2.8 on BGG), so it's not ultra-simple, but nothing impossible. If you're already into board games, you'll get the hang of it quickly.
How many people can play?
The game is designed for groups of 3 to 5 players. With more people, the Time Tunnel sabotage becomes even more chaotic!
How long does a game last?
It usually takes about 60 minutes, depending on how much time you spend trying to sabotage each other.
Is it a cooperative game?
Not at all! It's a competitive game where you want to collect evidence and, if possible, leave your friends trapped in the Black Hole.
What happens if I'm sent to the Black Hole?
If you aren't rescued before the Time Tunnel closes, your scientist is permanently eliminated, which can seriously hurt your final score.
