About the game
What you do in a play session
Stress Botics is the sci‑fi adventure that will push your brain into turbo mode! Picture four super‑stressed robots, the Beta Bots, sent by a futuristic corporation to an exoplanet full of resources. The mission? Mine them and deliver them to the corp’s ships, but it’s not as simple as it sounds: the planet keeps changing, the ships need different cargo, and the delivery time must sync with the exact orbit. And if that’s not enough, the rival Cylindroids INC sends its own bots to steal what you’ve gathered. That’s where Alpha Bot comes in, the support robot with snarky humor and a short temper. He unlocks new mining paths, gives more actions to the Beta Bots, and helps dodge traps, but beware: he can also be targeted by Cylindroids. The game runs in rounds where each player programs their actions in secret, chooses the execution order based on the robot’s stress level, and then reveals everything. You manage a limited resource arm, decide whether to deliver what you’ve collected or use it to upgrade your bot. Each round the Cylindroids try to sabotage, and your distance from Alpha Bot can grant bonuses or stress penalties. When Alpha Bot reaches the final chamber, the game ends: you tally victory points, subtract the accumulated stress, and the player with the most remaining points wins. With high‑quality components, a modular board, action‑queue, grid movement, and hand‑management mechanics, Stress Botics delivers a tense, strategic, twist‑filled experience. If you love strategy games with a touch of humor and logistical challenges, you’ll fall in love with this title.
