Picture this: 1898, Siberia, seismologist Edgar Vuntaf stumbles upon a continent untouched by humanity, teeming with life in forms never before encountered! Exotic plants, colossal creatures... Faced with this shocking discovery, the world's scientific elite, gathered in Paris for the Universal Exhibition, decides to establish the Vivarium Syndicate and dispatch explorers to this new land. In Vivarium, you are one of these explorers, tasked with cataloging the most incredible creatures and completing scientific objectives. The game is a tense and efficient card collection race, featuring stunning artwork. Each turn, players use pairs of dominoes to form coordinates and claim cards from a board. Among these cards, you'll find fantastic creatures categorized by species and biomes, scientific objectives to score points, and even equipment to facilitate future collections. After seven rounds, the player who has completed the most objectives and collected the most valuable creatures claims victory. It's a game that blends drafting strategy with the satisfaction of completing sets, all wrapped in an engaging theme of exploration and discovery that hooks you from start to finish.
