About the game
What you do in a play session
Step into the golden age of Israel under the reign of the legendary King Solomon! In "Wisdom of Solomon," you take on the role of a governor tasked with expanding the kingdom, building roads, and strengthening Solomon's influence. The game blends network and route building with classic worker placement, where every decision matters.
The board is divided into two parts: on one side, the map of the kingdom, where you'll lay down new routes and erect structures to connect areas and secure resources. The more you expand your network, the more powerful you become! On the other side, the vibrant city of Jerusalem, serving as the hub for the market (where resources are traded and Fortune cards are played), the foreman's office (for planning new structures), and, of course, the Levites, who work on the grand construction of Solomon's Temple. Donating resources to the Temple or visiting the Holy Places earns precious favor.
"Wisdom of Solomon" is a game for those who enjoy planning and optimizing actions. Interaction occurs through competition for placement spots and the race to complete objectives. The game ends when there are no more houses to build or the Temple is completed. Whoever accumulates the most Favor at the end wins the crown of wisest governor! It's an experience that captures the biblical theme well with solid and accessible mechanics, ideal for those seeking a game with a historical and strategic touch.
