About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready for a race against time in X-Virus, a game where the survival of humanity rests in your hands... or your ability to bluff! A terrifying virus, detectable only by X-rays, has already devastated much of civilization, and labs are falling one by one. The last hope lies in a secret facility, but tension explodes when a scanner reveals a terrifying truth: "One of you is infected!"
In X-Virus, you and your friends take on the role of a research team desperate to develop a vaccine. But that's not all: you need to identify and eliminate the infected individuals lurking among you before the virus wipes everyone out. Each round, players perform actions in a queue, and the order is crucial. Will you manage to keep calm and discreet while seeking the cure, or will panic and distrust lead the team to ruin?
The game blends elements of bluffing and deduction with the adrenaline of a party game. There's a semi-cooperative twist, where everyone needs to work together against the virus threat, but the possibility of a traitor (or more!) infected adds a layer of intrigue and player elimination that makes each game unpredictable. You can play fully cooperatively, semi-cooperatively, or even competitively, depending on the level of excitement your table seeks. Do you think you have what it takes to save humanity and unmask the infected?
