About the game
What you do in a play session
Zombie in My Pocket is a solo print‑and‑play title that literally fits in your pocket. Each game starts with a modular board made of tiles that can be arranged in countless configurations, ensuring the map is always a surprise. You play as a zombie hunter searching for the secret of an evil temple where an artifact can wipe out the rising horde. Along the way you pick up makeshift weapons—a machete, a golf club, a chainsaw, or even your late uncle's femur—to bash the undead that appear around every corner. The pick‑up and deliver mechanic forces you to carry these items to strategic spots, while a Prisoner's Dilemma element adds risky decisions that can swing the outcome. Find the zombie totem and bury it in the backyard graveyard before midnight, and you save the world; fail, and you become zombie snack. The game is free under a Creative Commons license, allowing remixing, re‑theming, and sharing as long as it isn’t sold. In just five minutes you get a blend of adventure, horror, and combat that changes each playthrough, ideal for players with little time but a big appetite for slaying zombies. Though solo, the tension of each choice and the modular board’s replayability keep it fresh and fun over many sessions.
