About the game

What you do in a play session

Get ready for an explosion of adrenaline with Boom! In this tense and fast-paced game, you and nine other people find yourselves in a peculiar situation: a suitcase full of money and a photo with ten faces, including yours. The message is clear: eliminate the other nine to keep the cash. But beware, they want you out of the game too! Boom is a card and dice game that tests your nerves and your bluffing skills. The objective is simple: get as close as possible to a target number with the sum of your cards, without going over. Each round, you receive a card and decide whether to risk another one or stop. With each play, you bet chips on your victory for that round. Whoever accumulates the most chips by the end, wins it all! It's a perfect game to liven up any party, with games lasting only 20 minutes and accommodating 2 to 10 players. The simplicity of the rules hides a surprising layer of strategy and tension, where each decision to risk or stop can mean the difference between victory and explosion. Do you have what it takes to survive and walk away rich? Challenge your friends and see who has the steel nerves to dominate Boom!

How many players can participate in a game of Boom?
Boom is super flexible and can be played by 2 to 10 people. The more players, the more chaotic and fun it gets!
How long does a game last?
Boom games are very quick, usually lasting only 20 minutes. Perfect for those short on time or who want to play multiple rounds.
Is Boom a difficult game to learn?
Not at all! The rules are very simple and straightforward. You'll get the hang of it in minutes and be ready to explode (or not)!
What is the main objective of the game?
The objective is to be the last player standing (or the one with the most chips) after all others are eliminated. To do this, you try to sum cards without exceeding a number, betting chips each round.
Is there a lot of strategy involved, or is it just luck?
There's a good dose of luck with the cards and dice, but the decision to risk another card or when to bet your chips adds a layer of strategy and bluffing.
