Civilization has crumbled, and what remains of humanity now clings to hope residing in the Colossi – gigantic creatures roaming desolate lands. Their imposing cities are the only oases where life still flourishes, offering water and vegetation amidst the chaos. But these metropolises, full of knowledge and treasures, do not welcome us, forcing us to forge our own path. We are the Children of the Colossi, and our mission is to build a new home. Children of the Colossi is a Euro-style game with a 'dudes-on-a-map' feel, where tribes compete to collect eggs and tame newborn Colossi. The goal is to create a new civilization from the ashes. During the game, you'll hang-glide between a dynamic map and the modular Colossi boards, racing to acquire precious eggs, hatch new Colossi, and outmaneuver your rivals. Your units are crucial: every placement and movement is a strategic decision. Send your envoys to the Colossi cities to gain benefits and influence, or dispatch them to the ravaged lands to contend for the eggs the Colossi leave in their wake. As the map fills with eggs, tension mounts. Newborns hatch, and players engage in clever contests of positioning and card play, with no direct attacks or destruction – just tactical maneuvers to secure victory. Each of the five Colossi and their cities offer powerful actions and unique banner cards to boost your strategy, but beware: only three Colossi appear in each game, ensuring insane replayability!
