About the game

What you do in a play session

In City Tycoon, you’re a businessperson investing in the expansion of a city. Your goal is to improve the citizens’ standard of living, making them happier. To do this, you need to choose city council projects that lack funding and decide where to spend your money. Each tile placed on the board represents a district that might need water, electricity, or even luxury goods. But be careful: resources are limited, and you’ll have to pay your opponents to transport materials through areas they control. The game has four phases, where buildings get bigger and more complex, requiring more resources and offering better benefits. You can adopt various strategies, like focusing on making money or building high-scoring structures. But remember: other players’ actions can change your plans at any moment!
