About the game
What you do in a play session
In Color Fox, the goal is to collect as many colored matchsticks as possible! Each player places cards on the table, trying to connect matchsticks of the same color already present. By making this connection, you earn the corresponding matchsticks. The clever part is that you can connect your card to multiple others simultaneously, grabbing more matchsticks at once. And there's more: if you connect to other players' cards, you can even propose a matchstick trade – and the other player is obligated to accept! The game ends when the matchsticks of a specific color run out. Then it's time to count points: the more matchsticks of different colors you have, the better. A set of six distinct colored matchsticks is worth 21 points, five are worth 15, and so on, with a single matchstick worth 1 point. Whoever accumulates the most points wins the fox! It's a fast-paced game with simple rules, but it demands attention to optimize your moves and, perhaps, outsmart opponents with strategic trades. Perfect for those who enjoy abstract games with a touch of interaction and quick planning. Ideal for taking anywhere, thanks to its compact size and charming components.
