About the game
Get ready for a fierce showdown in Crimson Company, a two-player card game that casts you as rival nobles in a medieval fantasy and pirate world. The vibe here is pure battle of wits, where you'll assemble an army of sellswords, from seasoned warriors and shady merchants to mythical creatures straight out of ancient legends. The main goal? Conquer two of the three central castles. To do this, you need to have more strength than your opponent in each castle's 'lane' when it's scored. A lane is scored as soon as one player commits at least four cards to it. Each card represents a character with its own strength value and a special effect, which can be a one-time instant effect when played or triggered in specific game phases. The most tense part is the auction: four cards are revealed, and you can bid on only one at a time. Your opponent then decides whether to pay you off, doubling your bid to stop you from taking the card, or let you have it and play it. It's a fast-paced game packed with strategy, demanding attention to detail and your opponent's moves. Perfect for those who enjoy card games with a touch of auction and area control, but don't want to spend hours on a single match.
