About the game

What you do in a play session

In *Cruel Necessity*, you take command of Parliamentarian forces during the tumultuous English Civil War (1640-1653). Alone against four armies hellbent on crushing Parliament and Puritanism, your mission goes beyond defending London: you must quell rebellions in Scotland and Ireland while cards replay historical events that could turn the tide.
