What you do in a play session

In 'Cult: Choose Your God Wisely', prepare to dive into a world where dark and powerful entities await to be summoned. Your goal is simple yet challenging: be the first to manifest and empower your chosen god, outmaneuvering your rivals in a race against time. Forget tranquility, because here strategy is everything: recruit followers, perform arcane rituals, bribe officials, or incite the populace's wrath for an uprising.

You'll dispatch your most loyal priests to strategic locations in the Eternal City, where they will vie for influence, new adherents, and other crucial benefits to secure your god's supremacy over minds and souls. Each round, new locations become accessible, expanding the battlefield. The winner of each location is determined by the priest's strength, but miracle and intrigue cards can dramatically turn the tide. Whoever wins a location enjoys its exclusive benefit, while others receive financial compensation. Victory can be achieved in various ways: by building five chapels, leading a popular revolt in the city, or, most ambitiously, performing a dark ritual to summon your master – one of eight dark gods. Prepare for tough decisions and plenty of direct interaction!
