In [dp6], you and your rival find yourselves trapped in a two-nation submarine station, where mysterious phenomena became routine until something terrible and powerful was discovered. With a world war erupting on the surface, a desperate race begins in the ocean depths. The objective is simple, but the execution is a nightmare: reach the escape pod that will take you back to the surface. To do this, you must traverse five station rooms, each blocked by coded doors from 1 to 5. The key to opening them? Decoders represented by a six-sided die, which you need to tune to the door's number. Each player has three actions per turn to try and advance, while a mysterious creature, the Freak, performs two actions based on its own artificial intelligence to hunt you down. Your actions can include moving your meeples between tiles, rolling dice to open or close doors, manipulating the escape pod, taking tokens, or using them to automatically open doors and modify dice results. The Freak, in turn, can spawn, walk through the station, and devour your meeples. Will you risk venturing into unknown chambers, use your limited resources to open doors automatically, or push your luck with the dice? It's a race against time and the relentless Freak, before it decimates all your crew or your rival reaches the escape pod and leaves you behind!
