About the game
In 1942, a group of four elite soldiers mysteriously vanished from the First Ranger Battalion, their names erased from the records. Chosen for their unique skills, they were assigned a secret mission: to combat terrifying supernatural threats against overwhelming odds. This is their story in Fireteam Zero, a cooperative game for up to four players who must carve a path through endless swarms of deadly monsters to uncover and defeat the ultimate evil behind them.

Each player controls a character with a unique deck of cards, representing their brutal combat skills. Use these cards to devastate creatures, protect teammates, or even reshape the tactical landscape with explosive ordinances. The campaign unfolds across three maps of increasing difficulty, each presenting more numerous and challenging enemies. To progress, players must complete specific mission objectives, moving closer to the final showdown. Two NPC Specialists offer crucial support: one with an uncanny perception of arcane energies and another with vast knowledge of the occult. Using them wisely is essential for success.

Time is an enemy: the longer it takes to complete objectives, the more Monster Twist cards are revealed, granting new and terrible abilities to the enemies. Each set of missions introduces a distinct family of horrifying creatures, with their own special abilities and twist cards. Beyond fighting for survival, players must strategically manage the cards in their hands, as each represents both an action and their health. Spending too many can leave you vulnerable, while spending too few can lead to being overwhelmed. Collaboration and tactical team decision-making are key to victory in this story-rich board game of squad tactics and horror. Each map can be played in about 45 minutes, or the complete operation in approximately three hours.
