About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready for another hit season behind the scenes of animation! In FlipToons: Season 2, you take on the role of a top talent agent, ready to discover the next big cartoon star. This time, a new cast of Toons, packed with cute animals and energetic athletes, is eager for a chance to shine. The goal? Assemble the best audition grid to impress the critics and win the coveted Critic's Choice award.
This is a fast-paced deck-building game for 1-4 players, where each game is a new opportunity to show your knack for success. You start with an initial deck of aspiring actors. Each round, shuffle thoroughly and reveal Toon cards one by one, forming a 3x2 audition grid. Each Toon has unique talents that can interact with their neighbors, generating Fame for your studio. But beware, not every pairing has the right chemistry! The Fame earned can be used to hire new talent or, perhaps, to send an awkward actor packing. After each reveal, reset your Fame, shuffle, and try again. The first to accumulate 30+ Fame points in a single round wins a bonus and kicks off the end of the game. Whoever has the most Fame in the final round takes the grand prize!
FlipToons: Season 2 can be played as a standalone game or combined with the original to expand the cast and increase the player count to up to 8. It's a great choice for those who enjoy quick card games with a touch of strategy and a fun, lighthearted theme.
