About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready to dominate the industry in a 1v1 showdown with Furnace Duel! If you enjoyed the original Furnace board game, you'll feel right at home here, but with a special twist for duels. The core idea remains the same: bid on company cards, manage your resources, and rake in as much cash as possible by the end of the fourth round. The big twist is that instead of direct compensation on the cards, you now claim routes on the board to get your bonuses. Think of it as expanding your industrial network! Your disc's value determines how many times you can use the effects of connected cities, opening up a range of strategies to connect routes and access more valuable industrial hubs. Each of the six game boards presents a unique challenge with its own rules and features, ensuring the game never gets monotonous. And for those who enjoy a good saga, the campaign mode challenges you to accumulate points over a series of games, completing specific board objectives and even earning bonuses that give you an edge in the next match. Cards can be powered up with city effects, and there are also Shipping cards, which act as a neutral, single-use bid. It's pure strategy, with tense auctions and sharp resource management, all packed into quick, focused two-player games.
