About the game
Imagine being a young sovereign in the year 1516. Your ultimate dream? Building a majestic palace that leaves everyone speechless! But before you can live in luxury and demand taxes from the rural population, you have a much less glamorous task ahead: managing your small territory in Fürstenfeld. The plan is straightforward but requires strategy: you must cultivate lands to produce hops, barley, and pure water, all to supply the local breweries that are hungry for these ingredients.

The challenge is that the market isn't that predictable. You know that golden rule? The more everyone produces, the faster the prices drop. If you and your opponents decide to flood the market with barley at the same time, profits will vanish quickly! Additionally, there is a constant space dilemma: as you invest in buildings to increase your wealth and approach your dream palace, the space available for your farming decreases. It is a delicate balance between expanding your infrastructure and keeping production up to date.

Fürstenfeld is the kind of game you can learn in a snap, but it keeps you thinking the entire time. Should I build another building now or save resources for the palace? Which product will increase in value next round? And if you find the base game too easy, get ready, because the expert mode is ready to truly test your limits. It is an agile management game, with a delightful medieval theme and a dash of economic tension that will keep you hooked from start to finish!
