Check out this updated version of Key Market! Originally released in 2010, this 2019 edition brings some new twists to spice up your game. Designer David Brain and developer Richard Breese have revamped several guilds and added four new ones to challenge your strategies. Forget what you thought you knew, because old tactics might not cut it anymore! In Key Market, you lead a family of workers, and over two years (eight seasons in-game!), your goal is to transform scarce starting resources into an economic empire. Each season is split into three phases, where you'll use your crew (workers) to farm, raise livestock, produce luxuries, and, of course, make some serious cash at the market. The weather and terrain matter, so pay attention! Plus, you can sponsor new workers to join the guilds, get promoted, and become master craftsmen. Turn order shifts each season, so stay sharp! Ultimately, the player with the most gold wins. It's a medium-heavy game, perfect for those who enjoy deep thinking and planning, with a playtime that demands dedication but rewards with a rich experience.
