About the game

What you do in a play session

In Islands in the Mist, you take control of a hot air balloon to explore mysterious islands shrouded in dense fog. As you move forward, the fog lifts, revealing breathtaking landscapes. Use the wind to your advantage to save energy, speed up or slow down, and even navigate against it to reach your goals. Place tiles to build cities, erect monuments, and expand the territory. Each round offers strategic choices: be the first to select more tiles or be the last to determine the wind direction. The game ends when a player connects all landscapes to the balloon yard. Get ready for an aerial adventure full of tactical decisions and exciting discoveries!
