About the game

What you do in a play session

Get ready to relive the tense moments of the classic film 'Jaws' with this board game! In Jaws, one player takes on the role of the feared great white shark, while the other 1-3 players form the hunting team, embodying Brody, Hooper, and Quint. The adventure unfolds in two distinct phases, mirroring the movie's narrative. In the first part, on Amity Island, the shark roams freely, threatening swimmers and evading capture attempts. The human team, meanwhile, must use cunning and strategy to locate the beast, save as many people as possible, and prevent devastating attacks. The double-sided board then shifts to the second phase: the sea chase aboard the Orca. Here, the tension escalates as the boat sinks and the final battle looms. The humans must defend the vessel from the shark's increasingly daring attacks, using action cards and special abilities to fight back. The humans win if they kill the shark, but if the great white succeeds in destroying the Orca, victory is its! Jaws combines mechanics like hidden movement, action points, and card management, creating a tense and asymmetric experience that will appeal to fans of the movie and hunt-style games.
