About the game
Embark on a pirate adventure in Libertalia, where you and your friends take on the role of ambitious captains, each dreaming of accumulating the greatest treasure and retiring to a paradise island. But beware, the sea is vast and full of other buccaneers as greedy and cunning as you! Captains like Stanley Rackum and Dirk Chivers are eyeing the same ships and treasures, and even worse: they employ the same scoundrel crew as you!

Over three thrilling rounds, the challenge is to be the smartest pirate, thwarting the plans of your rivals. How does it work? Each player starts with the same hand of crew cards. Each turn, you play a crew card from your hand, and the magic happens: the play order is determined by the cards' values. The player with the highest-value card usually acts first, but that's not always the best strategy!

Each crew member has a unique ability that can be activated at different phases of the turn: during the day, at dusk, or in the hideout phase. The key is to use these abilities at the right time to collect valuable loot, sabotage your opponents, or protect your own treasures. At the end of each round, you keep the treasures you've acquired, and at the end of the game, the captain with the most riches is the grand winner.

Libertalia is a game of deduction, hand management, and simultaneous action selection that will test your ability to bluff, plan, and adapt. Can you predict your opponents' moves and use your crew members more efficiently? Get ready for lots of interaction, twists, and the feeling of being a true pirate in search of glory and gold!
