About the game

What you do in a play session

In NO KINGS: Power to the People, you're not just playing cards — you're leading a revolution! The goal is simple: score points by rallying as many people as possible while toppling the Kings and Queens (which give negative points if they stay in your hand). But watch out — the game flips upside-down when a rebellion is declared: the weakest cards become the strongest, and power shifts to the people. The monarchs won’t take it lying down, though — they can crush the revolt if it’s unprotected. With special cards like Shapeshifters (changing values) and Thieves (stealing your points), every game is a strategic whirlwind. Play it straight or crank up the chaos with optional rules. Expect betrayals, temporary alliances, and lots of laughter as you literally turn the game on its head!
