About the game
Get your finest merchant attire ready, because Norenberc is waiting for you! In this game, you step into the shoes of an incredibly ambitious merchant who isn't just looking to trade goods, but to dominate the city council. The key to victory isn't just about a heavy purse, but about who you can bring to your side. To climb the political ladder, you'll need to win over the craftsmen from the city's various guilds. But don't think it's easy; the competition is fierce!

The gameplay is engaging and keeps the momentum high: no one sits around waiting for their turn. All players select their actions simultaneously, preventing that downtime where you're just staring at the table while someone else thinks. Using your agents, you can buy and sell goods or hire guests staying at the guilds—such as craftsmen and townspeople with special abilities that can give your strategy that much-needed boost.

The real magic happens at the end of each round. Each guild master will look at the table and pick their favorite. And do you know who usually wins that favor? The player who holds the most goods from that specific guild! If you're the favorite, you earn the guild master's loyalty and a guild crest. The most powerful guild even awards an extra prestige crest. In the end, the player with the best balance of craftsmen, crests, money, and influential citizens will be the grand winner of Norenberc. It's a classic strategy game where timing and resource management are everything!
