Hey there, board game fans! If you're a fan of Petrichor and looking to spice up your gameplay, the "Anthill Promo Tile" is a neat little addition. Originally a Kickstarter exclusive for the Honeybee expansion, this tile introduces ants into the mix. Simply shuffle this new tile with your chosen regular tiles before setting up the board (if you're using the Honeybee expansion, add the honey-producing tiles last). Once the board is laid out, place the 6 ant tokens onto the Anthill tile. The fun begins when water drops land on the Anthill tile: each empty ant token collects one drop. And here's a cool twist: if you have an ant with a drop on it (on any tile), you can move that ant and its drop to an adjacent tile. Drops carried by ants count as if they were on the tile where the ant is, and if that tile is harvested, the drop is collected. Once harvested, the empty ant token returns to the Anthill tile, ready for its next mission. This small expansion adds an extra layer of strategy and interaction without overly complicating the beloved core mechanics. It's perfect for those who want a little something extra in their charming nature-themed gardening game!
