About the game
What you do in a play session
In a not‑so‑distant future, humanity must find a new home. When colonising Mars looks like the only option, an unexpected world appears: "Planet B". This second chance brings hope, but also the same human tendency to do things their own way. In Planet B, each player becomes a corrupt governor trying to turn their region into a power and money empire. You’ll strike shady deals with corporations, build infrastructure, exploit the population’s labour, and manipulate political factions to secure backing. The planet’s market works like a live auction: resources are bought and sold, and price decisions can shift the game’s direction. Voting rounds are frequent, letting you influence laws, control the media, and even decide who becomes the next president. Worker placement is crucial – every board space has limited slots, so choosing where to place your agent can block opponents or guarantee powerful actions. The end goal is simple: when the game ends, the player who has pocketed the most government money wins, regardless of how many cities were built or voters swayed. The game blends dark humour, political satire, and a sci‑fi setting, all wrapped in market, voting, and worker‑placement mechanics that generate heavy interaction and rivalry. If you enjoy games where negotiation, blocking strategy and vote manipulation are at the core, Planet B offers a satirical, tense experience that can last 60‑180 minutes, depending on player count (2‑4) and table pace.
