About the game
Hey everyone! Ready to dive into a world of intrigue and global domination? In Deep State: New World Order, you take command of a secret faction aiming to control the world in the 20th century. Things are intense: the world is buzzing with technological advancements, wars, and political shifts, and it's in this melting pot that your secret organization, 'The Committee,' emerges to shape the future. Your mission? Dispatch agents to infiltrate political, financial, and research institutions to secure your objectives. It's a race against time and other players, who are also hunting for the same objective cards. Additionally, you can invest in history-shaping projects like the Comintern or the United Nations, and forge treaties with powerful organizations, some well-known, others hidden. But beware, every action has its cost, and sometimes agents must be sacrificed to gain influence. The game unfolds over rounds with action, takeover, and treaty phases. In the end, the player with the most influence, accumulated through objectives, projects, and treaties, takes full control and becomes the grand puppet master. It's a game for those who enjoy strategy, bluffing, and a good dose of conspiracy, with a medium weight that isn't intimidating but demands sharp thinking.
