Imagine the universe being literally devoured by a sinister cosmic entity. That's the apocalyptic setting of Revenant. Following the Voidfall cataclysm, the fallen Domineum Empire's last hope is a desperate contingency plan: retrofitting the imperial flagship, the Revenant, into a massive databank to preserve all of humanity's knowledge. Now, you are one of the admirals tasked with escorting this fleet beyond the known galaxy, but don't expect a smooth ride.
Revenant is a mid-weight competitive Euro game where resource management and engine building blend with intense tactical layers. Over four rounds, you'll allocate your crew across various ships in the fleet. Each ship is affiliated with one of the Great Houses, and by acting through them, you gain influence with those factions. The catch? You want the Houses where you hold the most influence to survive, while others... well, let's just say priorities are relative.
As you explore planets for resources, upgrade your crew, and deploy new vessels, the Voidborn forces relentlessly attack. At the end of every round, the fleet takes damage. You can play the hero by destroying enemies and repairing ships, or focus on maneuvering the fleet to safe zones and eventually activating the Revenant's hyperdrive for the final jump. The game shines in its constant player interaction and shifting alliances. Will you help the fleet for the greater good, or ensure only your political allies make it to the destination? Humanity's survival is on the line, but your political destiny is what truly counts in the end.

Is the game too complex?
It's a mid-weight game (around 3.9 on BGG), so it's not for absolute beginners, but experienced Euro gamers will pick it up quickly.
How long does a game take?
Expect to spend between 90 and 120 minutes, depending on how indecisive the admirals are.
Does it work well in solo mode?
Yes, the game supports 1 to 4 players, allowing you to take command even if you're alone.
Do I need to have played other Voidfall games?
Nope! Revenant is a standalone game, so you can dive into the story without any prior knowledge.
What is the overall feel of the game?
It's a mix of tension from enemy attacks and the cunning of managing who will hold power in the new world.
