About the game

What you do in a play session

SHASN is a political strategy game that drops you in the middle of an election campaign where every choice can swing the outcome. Instead of simple action cards, you answer Ideology cards that cover hot topics—from economics to culture—and each answer gives you resources like Finance, Media, Trust, and Influence. These resources are crucial for winning votes in nine distinct zones, each requiring a different majority to claim victory. What sets this game apart is the Ideology building: by answering cards from the same Ideologue (Capitalist, Showstopper, Supremo, or Idealist), you unlock powers that can reinforce your position or sabotage opponents. It’s not just about playing, it’s about negotiating, forming alliances, using “Take That” pressure, and even buying Conspiracy Cards that shift the tide. Balancing staying true to your ideology or adapting it to the moment makes every game a real test of strategy and persuasion. If you love negotiation, territorial control, and card-building games, SHASN will keep you glued to the decisions and twists only a political setting can deliver.
