About the game
What you do in a play session
In Sons of Anarchy: Men of Mayhem each player leads a rival biker gang vying to control neighborhoods, smuggle contraband and fill their coffers. Every round new territory tiles are placed, representing city blocks that can be claimed. You assign your gang members – shown as motorcycle icons – to spaces, spending action points and workers to claim, defend or attack. When another club wants the same spot, a conflict erupts, resolved with dice rolls, committed forces and sometimes an unexpected event that flips the board.
Negotiation is key; temporary alliances, veiled threats and resource trades can swing the balance, but beware the inevitable knife in the back – betrayals happen often. Each gang has a unique power, creating distinct strategies and ensuring every game feels fresh. The win condition is straightforward: after six rounds the gang with the most money (victory points) wins the city.
A modular board guarantees a different map each time, and the mix of mechanics – worker placement, take‑that, victory points as a resource, and more – keeps the flow tactical and lively. With a playtime of about 90 minutes for 3‑4 players, it’s perfect for groups that enjoy a dash of drama, bluffing and plenty of action. Fans of mafia‑themed games or TV‑show adaptations will love the gritty street atmosphere, and the detailed miniatures add a cinematic flair to the tabletop.
