About the game
What you do in a play session
Step into a grim, gaslamp-lit world where ancient beings of immense power clash to prove the superiority of their bloodlines. Sorcerer is a card and dice game for 2 to 4 players that puts you in control of one of these beings, using sorcery to summon minions, cast spells, and wield enchanted items to conquer three battlefields. Each round, a dice roll determines the available energy, ensuring the dynamic is never the same while maintaining balance, as the outcome affects both players equally. In the Action Phase, spend this energy to bring your minions into the fray, conjure items that enhance their abilities, or use sorcery cards with devastating effects. Need more energy? Draw more cards? Move your minions to another lane? The choice is yours, and victory will depend on your strategic skill in preparing for battle. When the dust settles, the Battle Phase begins: roll custom dice based on your minions' attack and see the results – miss, hit, double hit, or critical hit! Use Omen tokens to adjust outcomes before applying damage. The combination of deck building, dice rolling, and 'push your luck' mechanics with a unique twist of influencing combat offers a perfect balance between strategy and randomness. The clear division between Action and Battle phases provides a natural and engaging flow to the gameplay. Prepare for an intense experience where luck and strategy go hand in hand!
