About the game

What you do in a play session

Ever felt like you were in total control, only to realize your engine is slowly falling apart? That's the brilliant twist in Space Station Phoenix! You play as a representative of the Galactic Council, tasked with building space stations around Earth to observe humanity. But here's the kicker: unlike most engine-builders where you start small and grow, here you start with a massive-looking-but-shrinking-fast fleet of nine-ships and a station hub.

Your ships actually serve as your action spaces. Want to gather resources, explore, or build new station sectors? You'll need-to use your ships. But if you run out of metal for a crucial-build, you can choose to dismantle a ship to get the materials you need. This creates a unique-and-tense-dynamic where your-ability to perform actions actually diminishes as the game progresses. You are essentially trading your-capacity for expansion to actually expand.

The-game-is-packed with strategic depth, from managing-income to-navigating-diplomacy-tracks-that-let-you-benefit-from-opponents-moves. You'll-be-competing-for-limited-station-parts-and-alien-residents, all while-watching-the-end-game-conditions-closely. With-highly-variable-set-up-and-dozens-of-different-station-modules, no-two-games-feel-the-same.
