Imagine you and your crew have just hit rock bottom—or rather, landed on a bizarre alien planet where every step could be your last. In Unsettled, the danger doesn't come from monsters with swords, but from the environment itself. There is no traditional combat here; the true villain is the lack of food, failing oxygen systems, and a surreal nature trying to absorb you. It is a cooperative survival game where the goal is simple yet execution is a nightmare: complete survival tasks and try to make it home before the planet wins.
The experience is incredible because the world is unpredictable. With a modular board and variable setups, you never know exactly what you will encounter. On one planet, you might be dealing with pulsating fungal jungles and toxic spores; on another, with desert ruins and gaseous sandstorms. The action retrieval mechanic forces you to think strategically: how can you use the strange properties of what you find to keep the crew alive? You might even gain bizarre abilities by interacting with local life, but the risk of being absorbed is very real.
The game shines in its atmosphere. It manages to convey that feeling of 'we are lost and the universe is vast and strange' without needing an army of combat miniatures. It is about resource management, careful exploration, and, above all, mutual trust. If communication fails or decisions become selfish, the crew won't survive. It is a challenge of intelligence and constant adaptation, perfect for those who love high-level science fiction and want a game where the setting is the greatest adversary.

Is the game very difficult?
It is challenging! Since it's a survival game, the environment is punishing, so planning is essential to avoid dying early.
Does it involve combat?
No! The standout feature is precisely the lack of traditional combat. The focus is on surviving the environment and managing resources.
How many players can play?
It works great for 2 to 4 players. In cooperative mode, the interaction between the crew is the heart of the game.
How long does a game last?
Usually between 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the complexity of the missions you choose.
Is it repetitive?
Not at all. With the modular board and different planet/task setups, every game offers a new challenge.
Is it a complex game?
It has medium weight (3.2/5). It's not a simple 'pick up and play' game, but once you understand the action cycle, it flows very well.
