Spirits of the Forest puts you in the role of a celestial being eager to collect forest spirits. In each turn you pick up to two spirit tiles from a common pool of 48 pieces, gather favor tokens, and move, place, or recover gems. Your goal is to dominate the majority of the nine different spirit symbols—each tied to one of four nature elements—and rack up nature points. Whenever you hold the majority of a symbol, you earn points, and favor tokens boost that score. The game ends when all tiles are taken, and the player with the most nature points wins. The design is simple, with easy-to-handle components, and the 20‑minute playtime makes it ideal for quick sessions. The open draft mechanic gives everyone equal access to the pool, while set collection adds a layer of “who gets what” strategy. The natural theme creates a calm, inviting atmosphere, great for fans of trees and wildlife. Though fast and accessible, the game can feel repetitive if played in long stretches, but the mix of drafting and collecting keeps the fun alive. In short, Spirits of the Forest is a light but strategic offering that works well for 1–4 players and can be played anywhere, whether at home or online.
